Meet Scott Reilly, Our Owner

Peerless Appliance Services was founded in 2017 in Roanoke, VA by a Marine Corps veteran, Scott Reilly, and services the local area. If he could work on helicopters and make them fly, then he should be able to fix a washer, right? We quickly realized that there was a much greater need for quality, knowledgeable appliance repair and friendly customer service than we ever imagined. 


Off to certification school we went and built a model that could be duplicated to create experienced, knowledgeable appliance repair techs.


Quickly, through thorough, professional work and honest pricing, word started spreading about our business.


With a background in commercial laundry repair and residential and gas systems, we started servicing the local hotels and laundromats along with residential appliance repairs. While on these jobs and conversing with the customers, talk was had about how we service fireplaces as well as sell and install them, too.

Work volume grew and, between getting tons of calls for appliance repair and fireplace services, we were faced with a decision. Do we stay small with just the owner working and running calls or do we expand and hire another tech? It was a no-brainer! It was time to find someone qualified enough to send to school and train them to be the best appliance technician they could be.


We have been blessed! We now employ 4 certified and highly trained techs. We expanded our service reach to the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area, Smith Mountain Lake, Salem, Roanoke, Bedford, Rocky Mount, and everywhere in between.


The fireplace business became a beast of its own, and we had to separate it from Peerless Appliance Services and create a business of its own, Skyline Hearth and Fire. We encourage you to check us out over there, too. That’s where you will find Scott as he gets to greet all the customers and talk while overseeing this business as well.


We repair all major brands of appliances, including GE, Whirlpool, LG, Maytag, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Speed Queen, and Samsung.
